Never liked those types beds...
Never liked those types beds as they are bit boring,much copied in design and kind of 10years ago.
The thickness around is a waste of space for no aesthetic or practical purpose.Just my opinion though.
Now the Edra Cabana is weird but wild.

But the closest modern thing I like comparitive to yours would be the Jackie bed by Jean-Marie Massaud.Simple,elegant yet still pretty hot.
