I know everyone considers his Barcelona Chair may be one of the best chairs ever, but I think the Brno is superior. Yes, they're different kinds of chairs, but the Brno defines Modern much more definitively to me than the Barcelona.

Brno is the best
My favorite chair. I have six Knoll plain flatbar stainless. I hate the little armpads.

dcwilson, I agree on the aesthetics of the chair, however I don't find it comfortable at all!

It does look uncomfortable. Classic ignoring of lumbar support for sure.

Comfort
I love sitting in my brno chairs. Nice wide seat and that wonderful springy bounce. It's not a lounge chair and isn't supposed to be. I sit in it to eat, read the paper, have morning coffee and afterwork cocktails. I bought my first pair 20 years ago and I still have them.
