What about them is crudely done? (I ask because it is not obvious in the photos). Details showing this might suggest where in the world they were made, or what sort of shop made them.
Also knowing what kind of wood they are made out of might offer helpful suggestions (sharp close-ups of the grain, side grain and end grain, would help).
Beyond that they definitely show the influence of Helge Vestergaard Jensen's various tennis racket chairs.
Hi! The reason I say crude is because it looks like they have been hand hewn and were never refined as in sanding to make a perfect taper in the stretchers. I'm 95% sure they are mahogany however, they are so petite that they don't have enough wood to show a whole lot of grain patterns.
