Hi, I would appreciate if someone can help me with some contacts of danish dealers who sell second hand teak furnitures from 1950-70. It's not have to be designed or brand name. I would like to import container with these furnitures to Israel. Many thanks in advanced.
Eli.

My best tip
Hi Eli
Nice to see that Danish modern furniture is recognized and liked throughout the world. You will possibly be the first in Israel to market it, so good luck with a head start.
The place I want you to consider giving a visit is a warehouse in Jutland. If you only visit the Copenhagen area you will be competing with buyers from Japan and the US among others. Square meter costs are reflected in the market prices in CPH and maybe too steep for your business right now. In the warehouse in Jutland you will be able to see all of the current stock for sale, nothing is reserved in advance for other buyers. You can check out prices in advance and whatever you buy will be stored for free until you have made arrangements to have the goods picked up. In fact the only warning I can think of is: bring with you a warm coat and shoes if you plan a visit soon, the warehouse is not heated. Also the website is in danish, I hope Google Translate will be helpful in solving the language barrier.
Best wishes with your endeavour.
Ole

Import
Famous items:
http://www.lauritz.com/en/
http://klassik.dk/showroom
but you are paying for well known and original furniture in good condition.
How about importing modern Danish deisng instead?

Hi Elisha
maybe this post is to old for you to notice my comment, but if you are still looking for somebody capable of sending off containers With Danish 50-70s furnitures, to Israel - I might be able to help you? Though I prefer not to write any Company names or to many details in here, so maybe you Can contact me if you are interested. my email is sara_ramming@live.dk
I cooperate With somebody who does exactly what you are looking for, and they have ALOT of these specific teak and palis crafts from all the known and famous achitects of DK. Wegner, Finn Juhl, Erik Jørgensen, Børge Mogensen, Arne Jacobsen, Ole wanscher etc etc. but also there is furnitures from some of all of the less known ones. Infinite possibilities, so you name it and we Can figure something out for sure.
so cool to hear that Israel is now also excited about the Danish pearls of architected furnitures, cause some truly are unique and so perfectly crafted. would love to see some typical israelian living rooms etc. With some of all the Danish atmosphere to it, perhaps mixed With some of your traditionally crafts and antiques. So exciting.
looking forward to hear from you if you see this post.
best Sara
