Has anyone here ever tackled leather restoration? Specifically I am looking to her tips etc. on recoloring and crack filling, as well as cleaning and conditioning, and also products used. Thanks.

best suggestion
glassartist,
My best suggestion is to make contact with someone on a Rolls Royce forum. My brother-in-law did the leather on his car and it turned out very well.

A great suggestion
as the best I have found so far online was a BMW forum. We are on the same wavelength.

I saw a recent post
about damaged leather. Simon at the Danish Homestore suggested a tannery near him to replace the leather. Whilst I appreciate it's replacing, as opposed to restoring, it might be worth approaching a few tanneries?
This place looked useful too

colourlock
i think i've mentioned it before here, but here's the link again. they created a custom colored filler and stain (matched to an armrest i sent in) for my eames 670 to fill in some cracks and touch up faded color. it's been 2 years and everything looks great, despite daily use.
