yellow is
an under appreciated color. Our kitchen is now egg yolk yellow and I love it.
Walked home from a local thrift with the pictured. Had just dropped off the car for maintenance and dropped by on a lark.
I think it's a Gaetano Sciolari for Lightolier. In pretty darn good shape (some paint spatters on the shade)

yup, just did a Thurston search and no designer and the only hit I get is for Mr. Sciolari. Great name, Sciolari.

Picked up these dining chairs I've had my eyes on for some time. Peter Hvidt and Orla Molgaard-Nielsen for Soborg. I already have a set of six Moller #71 chairs but I'm a sucker for awesome chairs.
