Ok, here's mine...
Not sure if it was retailed through Abercrombie & Fitch OR Liberty of London. I could NOT help myself. Both his ears are missing and someone must have dragged him around by the tail for years. But! there's an "animal hospital" - I've written to them. I've given up on my mantra of "don't buy broken things".

nice elephant
phonegirl,
You give away your age (in general) knowing that Abercrombie & Fitch was not always a POS clothing store.
Project pieces are tough. I am sure that a qualified craftsman will have no trouble restoring your nice elephant.

well, there IS google you know, Niceguy!
It rang a bell that Abercrombie was around long before tiny jeans and smelly stores...but I googled it to be sure 😉
The Animal Hospital is in California. I'm in Canada so, that may be a problem. They seem to be quite obsessed with making them "all better",

I like it
the way it is. (Even if it does not have the Howard Miller label)
It has a great presence. A THERE-NESS!
I mean the elephant of course.

I so agree with Eameshead.
The petite animal is charming as is, and I'd name him Hollis.
I would, I swear,,,

At an estate sale this...
At an estate sale this weekend I got an old found-object assemblage art piece. It includes a paint roller tray and some other items that are less familiar to me. Its not the Louise Nevelson piece I might have preferred to find, but I like it OK.

Hollis' innards are not made of...
raw meat! He's all straw. Eameshead, same. (not the straw, the "he is as he is") but I'm thinking I should get him some ears somehow. The straw is right at the surface so, I'd like to enclose it, just to protect it. Just don't think a hairnet will do!
LOVE all the Borge Mogensen. You're on fuego, Waldorf!
Aunt Mark! Copco...I've had several pieces in that colour but I've never seen that form. Lucky you...and multiples!
(see? I DO read all the posts and get a lot of pleasure doing it)

Elephant
Not my favorite, but it's pretty cool. I like the bull and pig better myself.

So this morning...
I found a large white lamp with a silver "panty hose" shade (at my fav store). The only sticker (bottom) indicates that it was made in Italy. I think that it is newer and possibly Jonathan Adler.
But then again...
