Rosewood . . .
I guess you're right -- boxy and crisp took off in the early sixties, arguably GM's finest decade for styling. That was the Mitchell period ? Round came back with a rush when the Taurus was born -- and the Porsche 928 was another milestone, as I recall.
Great finds, people. Keep 'em coming !

a metal wood loop. No idea, almost looks home made. I really should fill it with firewood rather than the clutter of newspapers to burn...note to self...

At the thrift store today I got a cast iron Japanese tripod planter, and a pair of Marshall Studios ceramic and walnut bookends. For $2.99, and $3.99.

The planter I found is 10.75" long. I remember bidding on one several years ago on Ebay, and seeing it end up selling for around $300. Just the other day I was thinking about it again, after I found a ceramic tripod planter, then today I turn the corner at the Goodwill and there it is.

Mark,
I really like your latest treasure. It reminds me of an Ouija planchette especially with the circles in the center. You may now summon the design spirits.

Jesgord:
I've been unable to find this book elsewhere without the dust cover. It is some kind of addition, which was not printed onto the cover. It works so well graphically that my instincts say it's supposed to be that way. Although, I could easily be wrong.
