I know this is not a design issue, just a fellow human being, DA buddy issue. I just heard on NPR that Tulsa is getting hammered with an ice storm, power outages, etc. and I'm just checking in that you are A OK in T OK. Radio made it sound pretty serious, evacuations, hotels full, etc.. Although with power out, you may not be able to answer for awhile.

I wish him the best too. I...
I wish him the best too. I went through Hurricane Katrina and was without power for almost two weeks. It sucks, but I'm sure his talented wife and super collection will keep him warm at night! 😉 opefully his power will be turned on soon. I went a little nuts after about 5 days.

LRF
It doesn't seem the same without LRF in the conversation, Hope He's OK. I'm sure he can have plenty of fun rearranging all this furniture.

If he's in Oklahoma...good luck
The ice and loss of power is so bad in Oklahoma that power crews from Minnesota are driving down to Oklahoma to help out getting the power restored.
Thus far, 25 people have been killed due to the ice from Iowa down to Oklahoma. Mostly from auto accidents.
It's beautiful, but a worst-case weather scenario.

Thank you all
Thank you all, you are all great!! and i really appreciate it
It is so nice to that people care about you,
This has been a unreal experience the whole city and state are wiped out with down trees ,
as you know i moved into a older home in a mature area that had lots of trees all down with ice and magnificent trees lost, really nice as from Joyce Kilmers Poem Trees Only G-d can make a tree so he better get working as most are down,
the worst part is over a 150,000 people are with out power still 5 days after the storm
We are lucky cause in this midcentury mansion over here the wires are buried underground, where the rest of the city have the over heads,
Internet and cable are now just back on and to say the least i have been going nuts, we opened the house to my wifes friends who have no electric and some will not have it for another week,
I know now how Katrine was , 10 times worse and I have a new found respect for what those poor folks went through we have our structures just no heat,
Once again thanks for the kind words I really appreciate it,

I just heard we are in f...
I just heard we are in for another round this week end with more ice and snow.
I always wonder why can't we have a nice currier and ives type of snow? that December brings, it always has to be so wild and cause nasty devastation around here ,
I will take some snaps tomorrow of the neighbors yard I had a crew to come out and pick up all my uprooted trees but some of the other folks have not been so lucky as to get a crew out yet, and not even started the clean up. Kinda sad that every single household was affected one way or the other,
(Those fellows sure are making some good money cleaning trees up) and of course not only them but a good licensed electrician to put the power boxs up.
Now after i paid the boys to get the yard all cleaned up and get it gone . I heard all you have to do is put limbs and branches and broken wood near the street and the city will pick it up sometime in the near future, like spring time, lol oh well I like things nice and neat,
