LC4 - How do I tell if it's 'real' and/or what it's worth?

Picked this chair up a few months ago and moved recently. It just doesn't fit in our new space - bummer. I'm on the fence about selling it because I'm not sure what it's worth. I see some go for $300 and some go for $1000 and the obvious originals go for much more.

Any thoughts on which price-point I might be looking at or if there is anything I should look for? I've seen no maker's mark anywhere.

Dont think
I dont think its a Cassina production. Currently they are the manufacturer licensed by the LeCorbusier Foundation. Cassina uses a broad nylon strap under the seat pad, instead of thin wires, and the Cassina production has buckles on the pad only at the head, foot, and headroll. Also, the headroll on yours looks kind of poofy and overstuffed. If you're trying to sell it I would disclaim that its a copy and you'll probably get 3-400$ for it if its in good condition.

theres alot of talk about cassina produced chairs
But how do you decipher an original "pre-cassina" LC4. Was there a specific company producing the chairs pre 1964?

Some thoughts
In a 1954 Production model the leather is wrapped over the framework of the seat. Other earlier models from Ebru-Werke of Switzerland show similar canvas coverings. Embru had production from 1935, but I dont know exactly when they ceased.
No images i've seen of historic past productions have had the side straps holding the pad in place, as yours does. Also - if the piece were pre 1964 I would imagine the head-roll would be much more worn and beat up. Also, I've never seen a vintage model with plastic feet caps that are on the current production. Not a definite no, but seems to point in that direction.
If you're still curious there's a book called LC4 on Amazon which talks about the development and design by Charlotte Perriand.
