Hello,

I have a Kold Christensen PK61 coffee table with a slate top which appears to be quite stained (watermarks and others).

I wonder if it is possible to get rid of these or if I have to sand the top by a specialist.

In that case does anybody know by chance how these slate tops were being treated by the initial producer Kold Christensen. I requested at Fritz Hansen but they are not able to help me out.

Every info is highly appreciated.

and when applied with a product that feeds the slate? a lubricating product, for instance.

Does it have a polished or honed surface?
Good old mild detergent and water sould always be the first try. If that doesn't work, research slate countertop care.
