If you don't want to
keep it, why would you not sell it for $400 so it could travel back to its' original home?
I'm sorry if I've offended you. It's obvious that you are not a dealer. Would you not be happy with the incredible markup that you have already been offered in exchange for ensuring that it could be admired by native Danes in perpetuity?
This seems like a win-win situation all around.
Anwin win situation.
KaySnyder,
Riki is correct. A $400.00 sale yields near 97% GPM (gross profit margin). This is an incredible immediate "cash return on investment". Should money be your motive, run - do not walk - to the buyer. Do not forget to say thank you.
To acheive 100% GPM a gift (due to your low cost of acquisition) may bring joy to you all that see it that can not be measureded in dollars and cents.
As I have said before, an object is only worth what a buyer is willing to pay. You were willing to pay very little, perhaps the next person will pay more.
Prior to buying and selling* any item(s) I try to disallow emotional appeal and do my own extensive "homework". This is how I get "lucky".
I hope this helps you.
