There are so many set of Danish nested tables floating around and it
got me thinking who made what? I have a set which look very much like
those made by Jens Quistgaard, yet the lip on the side of the top table is
less pronounced and more gentle and refined. The top table is solid teak,
whilst the othe two tables appear to be teak with a rosewood inlay.

It would be great if we could put together a resource because I think plenty of us are perplexed about this design issue.

So let's share our nested table knowledge.
Thanks for your help.
Tick.

I have these tables too..........
I doubt they are Quistgaaard though; the construction method is different than that of the Quistgaard tray I also have.

Thanks Robert1960
Yes, I agree that unlikely to be Quistgaard but nice all the same. It's hard to know who made what with so many Danish tables.

I've just seen
these on a Japanese website attributed to Peter Hvidt.
Oddly, most of my other furniture is by him, but it never occurred to me these might be.. I wonder...

Odd!
it appears, when I Googled last night, I got a Japanese translation of an ApartmentTherapy page.
There was a picture of the tables, and the only recogniseable name was that of Peter Hvidt.
Today, the English page doesn't make reference to the tables, sorry..red herring!

Showhome
attribute them to Quistgaard, but I just don't think they are (they'd almost certainly be marked if they were)
