I've contacted the auctionhouse where i bought it and am trying to get him to return me the buyers costs. Allthough i prefer the desk now more than before.
I've worked in one of the two most well-known highend auctionhouses as a porter and i can tell you they are just as swindlerish (is that a word?) as the middle or low end auctionhouses 🙂 And what the expertise concerns. To get a steady position as an expert there and not only a trainee post, they look at your netwerk and not your expertise, you have to come from a good bread 🙂
