Hello,
I was wondering if anyone recognises one of these chairs. I don't know when or were they were bought. They were part of enheritance.
What would these chairs be worth? Even if they are mass-produced, I would like to know. Maybe they have an aesthetic value.
I am not looking to sell and I am not expecting that they are worth a lot. I am just very curious
I don't know what they
are either, but I think their looks could be improved a lot with decent upholstery. It looks like they were redone at some point. I doubt the original upholstery would have been done like that, with one sheet of vinyl for the back and sides and the corners folded with that diagonal on the side. They'd look so much better in a nice wool with seams on the sides. A few buttons to further define the curve of the headrest on the first chair would be nice.
The arms on the first chair look a bit clunky compared to the graceful cigar legs, and the second chair looks top-heavy on those slim tapered legs. But mostly the vinyl looks awful and needs to go!
