If you don't like modern this could be your second
choice this is from The J C Penny 1977 catalogue
Can you think it actually cost 399.00 back then.
I really love the jaggard vinyl seats in the multi colors.
that would have been great in any cool kitchen
but nothing is as cool as the wine barrel look.
this is what I call Kick Ass Furniture,

don't you love the leisure look
my Dad was the owner of
oil and gas company so he really never got to wear the
cool orange suit cause he always wore suits to work. This was so cool that the Federal Bureau of Prisons liked it so they adopted it for their special guest, and loved the orange color,
I married for the first time in 1977, and the marriage busted up shortly after , but if my ex and I would have had the matching shirts may be things would have worked out cause we would have been the two biggest geeks and no other person would have wanted me.

Yuppie Cowboys
Great! Cardigan wearing guest can eat bowls of peanuts, and drop the shells on the floor. Then stroll outside for some tennis. Yuppie cowboys...thats who needed wine barrel furnishing.

Euro design malfunctions
"In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, bloodshed... They produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock."
--Orson Welles as Harry Lime in _The Third Man_
