Hi everyone,
I'm in need of some help to identify a set of (4) triangular shaped nesting tables. I acquired the tables just yesterday from an estate in the Los Angeles area. The house was built in 1947 and designed by case study architect Julius Ralph Davidson. The home has been in the same family since new. There were many nice pieces of furniture, most going to LAMA for a future auction. These tables were not picked up as (3) were in a closet and the fourth (the white table) was being used for a VCR stand.
They are 17"x 17"x17" and 16" high. The materials are black rod iron, plywood and what appears to be formica. The construction is very good and very uniform. There are markings on the bottom of one table (see photo).
I've searched the internet for anything similar but with no luck.
I've also included a link to information about the house with many interior photos just in case there is a clue hidden there.
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.
