Check out this labor of love, portable but presently at home in Florida.

Question: Are the sling chairs a recognized design ? The article implies that they were a custom piece and had to be replicated . . .

Thanks SDR, I don't know how I missed this thread. This will give me an excuse to throw a couple of bags into my station wagon and drive across the swampy state to beautiful Sarasota (I've never been). I'll keep you posted.

Don't know how I missed your response, Mark. I'd love to hear of any on-the-ground discoveries. Sarasota is said to have other early work by Mr Rudolph . . . though I fear the high school may already be gone.
