Hello,

I'm new here and was hoping to get some help identifying a chair that I bought today at a thrift store. I've attached a picture of the chair and a picture of the only marking it has on it. Thanks in advance for any help.

😀

The tag
looks like some kind of inventory number you sometimes find on furniture that was in a government building/hospital.

Did you find
it in Florida? Letters could mean it came out of the University of Florida Medical Center.

I once bought
8 Saarinen stools that came from a prison that had inventory tags on them. Those were much harder to figure out!
Now that you've made me think about those, they quite possibly have been my best bargain ever at 25 USD each. I also think that I may still have two of them left in my basement in South Carolina that I haven't laid eyes on in about 10 years, unless my children have stolen them. Hmmm.
