I have been searching the net to no avial and I have gone insane from looking at chrome chairs :PSo this finally went down to a price I could take a chance on. It reminds me of a Milo Baughman's chair it has sweet quaility, legs weigh a ton...and came close to smashing a toe with one..Camera taking some horrible photos but as you can see it has been recovered in this ugly fake worn leather stuff and does the chair no justice. I pulled a corner to look at the frame the upholstery is on for possible a mark, but found out it was replaced.I like the chair and would possible like to redo the upholstery to a more original look...seen some yellow strings on the back, when makes me think it may have had yellow uphostery at one point..Any help you can give is appreciated, also like to hear comments!

I can't help with an I.d. but I'm liking the chair.  Looks like it would be worth spending some cash on the right upholstery job.

Thanks!
I am thinking I will have to just find a similar chair and copy the upholstery, since I am finding yellow fibers I may do a yellow chair like this.

Yup, I agree that it could indeed handle something 'striking'...!
