Greetings again from the UK. My dad moved out of his old flat and we couldn't salvage the formica kitchen units. So I'm wondering if somebody can ID this for me, as I'd like to get it from salvo or elsewhere. Great pattern; even to know what it's called would be interesting. Thanks folks!

Judging by the quality of the carcass I would say it could be Kandya although I have never seen that pattern before.

This is not a common pattern....
This is not a common pattern. have a look closer at the fitting. There is virtually no symmetry at all in this design. It's not that one or two 'diamonds' are off, it's that there is literally no discernable repetition. That's amazing.
I'm guessing that it's a Formica pattern, one of their 'quilted' variations (this grey thing here is one). Any idea where to find a pattern book of vintage Formica patterns? The collection on their website is contemporary and not retro and an archive of their stuff I found on an online forum is only of their stuff in 2006. Where is this kind of thing, in libraries? Trade libraries? lol I haven't a clue
