the exact antipod
of the Maurice CALKA boomerang desk palstic made, colour white. Is there a specific reason why this designer took the exact counterpart of the "etwas rundes" design of the seventies. May be you should check for 1980's designers, californian, canadians, swiss...?
There's like a post punk influence in this design in a way between "Missing Person",southside johnny" "billy idol" and "ZZ TOP".Are we getting closer to western and southern states influence such as TEXAS too? Idunow. the agressive line and colour of this desk seems to evocate an anti conformist attitude toward the pretty and common taste furnitures manufactured in the "Country spirit" for the american middle class by that time. May be, you should look toward this direction. Other thing, this desk migtht have been ordered
by a collector who designeddrew it from scratch and have it crafted on demand. There might not be a designer behind this desk, just a talented craftman with a simple sketch note.

Tilanus, If knowing its not...
Tilanus, If knowing its not a custom piece makes me the expert then so be it.
The piece has production ran drawers and hinges. Also the finish is not done at some local cabinet shop and only a few places can overlay leather drawers the way a factory plant can.
Im just trying to find if anyone else has seen another. No need for all the hate !!!! Thanks to all that have posted so far ....
