Dear design lovers.

Please give me some info on these chairs if possible.
They are told to have been purchased in Sweden many years ago and that they were very costly at that time.

Madras shorts. Ideal for sitting in a hunting chair. Truly ideal. Vernacular design from Madraspatnam, India imported by the English East India Company starting in 1626.
This thread might sartorially make something of itself yet!
