Hi everyone!
So, my mom had a beautiful howard miller chronopak desk clock. The walnut one that's globe shape. It's BEAUTIFUL. It was in our house ever since I was a kid.
So, my mom has passed, and I have the clock now. But the motor died, and she had it "repaired". The idiot clock shop put in a cheapo battery movement. (Guess what? To change the battery OR set the time, one has to rip the entire clock apart... yikes).
I am looking for ANY info on what clock motor/movement I need to try and locate. Help!
I've searched and searched... one possibility is a Hansen type "D". I am not sure if that's the one or if it would fit.
If anyone knows, OR- has such a clock they'd be willing to open and get the details, I would be forever grateful.
This is a beautiful piece I want to get working again, properly.
