Hello Everyone,

I know these questions are annoying and not something that should hold any worth. But I am a student that loves design and have the chance to buy this Bertoia Diamond Chair with an Ottomon.

Its a used buy and I dont want to be paying more than is fair. Please let me know.

And if anyone has one or has sat in one, the comfort is obviosly very very important to me. Mainly becuase once I get this chair, I wont have the money to splurge on another one. this will become my "reading" "chill out" chair! 🙂

wires
the ottoman is more valuable than the chair on that one cause they are hard to come by.. that chair ottoman and cover would be a good deal at $500. US dollars
Wires can be picked up vintage knoll from 100 to 150 depending on the condition the ottomans 200 to 250. the cover is clean 100. you do the math 500.

thank you so much LRF.
I am really hoping that the chair is comfortable though.
I would have to pay 600 Swiss Francs, which is around 500. Thats very pricey for me but if the chair is comfortable might be worth it.
I really like the look so thats a good thing.
Will report back with a picture If i bought it...

Please consider what you are...
Please consider what you are using it for. I am not sure if it is right for reading or "chilling out" unless your definition of those things differ slightly from mine. For one it doesn't have a headrest. While I think the ottoman looks cool with it, it usually is seen with the larger diamond or the bird chair. Are you familiar with these designs?
That being said, I think it is a great chair and very comfortable with the full pad. It just depends on what you expect it to accomplish.

@ whitespike & lcf
I am leaning towards not buying the chair. For me, the chair is really expensive at around 500$.
I think I am going to put that money somewhere safe and save up for my dream chair (a used eames lounge chair)

better yet
Perhaps you should spend the $500 on a lounge chair you can afford that you can enjoy while saving up for the Eames. Seriously consider the lounge chair by George Mulhauser for Plycraft. I love it and it is very unique. Why be like everyone else???

The Mulhauser
The Mulhauser chair is much more expensive (i.e more rare) here in Europe than the US..
.if you can find one..!
( I love the chair by the way )
