What is the best material to use for paiting the floor white? Is it epoxy? what should i use?

floor paint
You can buy paint made especially for floors. I believe it's called porch deck paint, or something like that. It's pretty tough stuff.

Sand them, use primer, then...
Sand them, use primer, then an oil based floor paint for durability (at least two coats). I intend to do this in the summer and am going to use the range of floor paint from Farrow and Ball, they have a beautiful range of different whites.
