I know there are not a lot of warm fuzzy feelings for DWR in this forum but I thought I'd go ahead and post something about an event at the Evanston showroom tomorrow evening.

I have been asked to bring vintage examples of Eames and Nelson designs made by Herman Miller. The idea being that folks can see what Herman Miller looked like back in the day and compare it with their product today. They will also be showing films by Charles and Ray Eames and I think maybe having some sort of discussion as well.

It takes place tomorrow, Friday Dec. 4th from 6 to 9 pm at the Evanston showroom which is just North of Chicago at 1710 Sherman Avenue. I believe they will have refreshments on hand. I'll have at least a dozen early vintage pieces there that I hope people will find of interest.

Good for you!
I got an email about that as well... Sounds like fun. Wonder if they are showing vintage pieces at all the studios.
