i *love* stuff like that. It'd be fantastic to see more of this sort of stuff from other manufacturers too; I know Alessi produced a book of items that didn't make it past the prototype stage (below) and I used to see catalogues when I worked in furniture in the 90s that pictured items that never actually got produced for sale (e.g. a Konstantin Grcic sofa called Pasha from c. 1994). If I can dig out pics, I'll post 'em. Any more similar stories?
