I picked this up the other day. It is clerly marked Herman Miller and it came out of a US Govt building. Look at its size compared to normal armchair.

Somewhat uncommon
But not rare. Does only the cushion need to be redone or the whole thing?

The arms have some wear on them. I suppose someone could repair, but brown is ugly.

What about stripping the chair and only doing the cushion a blue color.

Proceed with caution
I like the brown too, and the body of the chair does not look bad in that pic. Looks like the foam in the loose seat cushion could be replaced. But if you intend to redo the entire chair be forewarned, it's more complex than it looks. The foam is of varying densities and thicknesses, and like all upholstered armshells, it a lot of work and could easily end up costing more than the chair is really worth.
I'd think about replacing the foam inside the seat cushion and see if I could live with it as it is. It is a terrifically comfortable chair.
