I have just read a thread about somebody asking for advice on how to warm up grey marble flooring. Well I have double the problem with grey marble walls and brown marble floors. I am in the process of buying a bar/cafe in Spain, it is in a fabulous position with a small terrace and it is an excellent opportunity... the only problem is the decor. I dont like it one bit! The problem is the bar has a relatively small area (120m2) and I want to make it more stylish (a mix of old and new) and mush more cosy, its feels so cold and sterile. It is a bar open day and night with relativley good lighting. I dont have the option to take out the marble but there is some wall space to paint and the celing also. I was hoping to have a mix of old fashioned wooden and modern furniture. Can anybody help me please? I can send a photo if needed.

You will need clear red sound absorbing material of some sort on the walls perhaps ceiling banners...?Red is Spain.
