They look authentic. But I'm not sure what you're after here. If the price is right, you should go ahead with it whether they be Knoll or Steelcase. Look to be in great condition. Extremely handsome, useable set.

If you can remember I almost purchased that dirty parallel sofa a few months ago. I promised my wife that if we purchased this sofa it will be the last. Currently, she is pretty much over me bringing various mid century sofas home only to change my mind a few months later.
I just want to make sure that we purchase authentic pieces and I figure that this aspect is due to the nature of collecting. I am going to sleep on it and if I find peace within this potential transaction than we will pick it up tomorrow. Thank you Lunchbox. In solidarity

it looks super real to me.
What appears to be a small black spacer between the chrome base and sofa along with the segmented base construction point to the real deal.
I bet it's heavy as shit huh?
But the dead give away is the institutional inventory sticker, 9 out of 10 times these stickers point to gold.
I recently purchased a "sofa compact replica copy" sight unseen just because it had an IBM inventory sticker. The seller warned me this copy is not an original collectable but had a cool look. it ended up being an aluminum group sofa in original black nagauhide.
Now run with cash to that dam sofa set!!

and are very happy in finding out that it is authentic. It just needs a professional steam cleaning. By the way, it was heavy...... Blessings
