Looking for any information about these chairs. We've had them for a few years, bought from a neighbor in the US who knew nothing about them. There are no identifying marks or labels that I can find. They're fairly heavy, the vertical chrome rails are solid while the horizontal square bars are hollow and the swivels are ball-bearing and solid steel. The fabric might be leather but it's hard to say, it's soft to the touch though with some texture to it. Any ideas?

I once owned a set of similar dining chairs. They had some German mounting instructions on the base so I guess they are common 1970s chairs from Germany.

I've poured over hundreds of pages of google image search results and have only been able to find one other picture of our chairs, from an ebay auction. The auction is too old to view, but I do know it had the word Knoll in it. Does that help at all? Is there a master database of all Knoll furniture that I can search?
