a metrosectional.

on further investigation
I seems as though this piece was made by France and Sons for John Stuart Co. No labels on this one but this seems to be the case.

I'm not sure...
I'm not sure, but the legs and arms seem different from the Hvidt/Molgaard sofas I've seen before

Seconding bubs
Those legs look like the legs from other hvidt tables but they aren't the legs for the minerva set, at least going by the precedent of every other one on the Internet.
And the arms aren't quite right either.
The is more to this story, methinks.

It all looks quite different ...
It all looks quite different to many Hvidt daybeds out there. The matching table also different. The arms, the legs and the wood joins on the corners of the seat. Probably Hvidt as you say, but looks a little quirky to me.

photos without cushions?
My curiosity is piqued. I personally would be convinced that it is a Hvidt/Molgaard if it could be tied to France & Søn.
Can you post photos without the cushions? I am curious if the the bottom shows the springs and downwardly arc-ing stretchers typical of France & Søn construction.
I have a France & Søn sofa, and the cushions each had a paper tag inside. If you unzip yours and look inside where the springs are, there is likely to be such a tag if you are lucky.
