Hello Gugu, hehehe
Soo... Are you from Argentina? afff... huahauhauahuah
Now we are enemy, huahauhauhauhaua
It's a joke...
ok... let's talk about soccer at first...
In olimpic games Argentina play better then Brazil, when the game started i wanted Brazil win the game, but when it was ending, i really wanted Argentina did more 5 or 6 goals because your players play like men and Brazil play like kids... Argentina's players have claw... I don't know if you understand me, but like... you really want to win, you play to do it and you fought a lot... it's hard to me explain because my english vocabulary is poor, but in few words: you play 3 times better than Brazil...
Now... let's talk about design, rs...
I LOVE scandinavian desing from this period (50-60) and probably some desing from Brazil was inspirated from Scandinavian designs... I know just a little thing about it.. i just like the furniture... i started my "collection" some mons ago, i have some pieces but i like it a lot... Here in Brazil, in this period (50-60), we had a famous furniture fabric who did amazing, unbeliveable pieces... here in Brazil, a little people know they... out Brazil i think nobody know it. They call "Móveis Cimo" (Cimo Furniture), they don't have famous design, you can't know who (people) designed each piece and each piece have a stamp or a seal just saying "Móveis Cimo". I have some pieces from this company and one day i will take some pictures and post here...
And about Argentina? Can you tell me some thing? Some designs? A like to go to google and search in "images"... I put the design name there and tchantchantchan, rs... What kind of furniture do you like more?
The thing a like more in one piece is the legs.. especially when it's "pé palito"... I don't know how to say it in english but like when the legs seems like toothpick. Did you know? like... when it's cylindrical, start "big" and after narrow... it finish thin(some expression here i don't know if it's correct because i use googletraslation to some words i don't know). But in abstract: the legs is like a funnel.
You have in Argentina some beautifull pieces because sometimes i go to mercadolibre.com.ar and see some beutifull pieces there. I collect old refrigerator too and in mercadolibre do you have some beutifull and different old refrigerators...
Do you know some interesting Argentina sites with midcentury furn?
Ok, i wrote a lot, now i'm gooing, hehehe

bye bye Gugu, huahuahauhauhauha

abraços

Igor

Querido IgIg:
About futbol (futiieeebool, with brazilian accent).
I was kidding, I,m very low the argentine average. Not so interested.
Sometimes I walk at the street and see too little people...why? I forgot there was a football game!
The final (Argentina-Nigeria)was not so good.
But just, you Brazil, me Argentina: Not good a welcome without any medal mention! (both of course, hehe).
I,m not a collector. I,m more a designer. I,m part of the (reduced?) designer,s group of DA (once bigger, today almost in extinction???) haha.
So at first, I can,t help you as you want.
But wait, no no NO . NO . N. O . O . OOOOO,
many years here reading and learning, about vintage...
Sometimes I wanted to pay to feel that sensation... but nothing, but
Old refrigerators from mercadolibre.com.ar! (ebay,s version)
WOOOW, I found an incredible piece. I don,t have where to put it. Maybe as a cupboard?, but no space either. I,ll have to send it to you!
I,ll will loveyou-hateyou!, so many time ,,free....
I,m afraid I was already "infected"!
I was trying to keep my ,,independence,,.
Once infected, I,ll be back with some stuff and ideas in mind connected.
Saludos
Gustavo

Manchester
Robinho was devistated when he found out there was two clubs in Manchester 🙂 the only reason he has gone there is to receive 6 million sterling after tax!!
City will not win nothing this year just because they have bought Robinho and Wright-phillips this will not change nothing!

My friends
My friends, I will be very frank ... I liked the brazilian soccer team in the past ... About 6 years ago ... Today I like a lot soccer, but i really don't like brazilian soccer team... I don't think Ronaldinho plays so well and when he plays in brazilian team, he does nothing... I like Kaka, but I don't think he play so well, it's the same to Robinho... Today I prefer entering a store of used or old furniture and see a chair with the potential (even if all damaged) in a hidden corner of the store to see the Brazilian soccer team play ball...
Abraços
Igor

sad to say...
but it's not what it once was. I have to say i hate to see it. nothing better for me in a sporting sense than Brazilian 'samba football' at its peak.
