Great idea  

I did this with my chair and it is by far the greatest thing i have ever done .
I have several lounge chairs from Norman Cherner, George Mulhauser and Charles Eames, and several Plycraft chairs .
I took my Norman Cherner lounge chair and converted to my office chair . I bought t a fine set of wooden wheels with a chair tilt and lift and took off the original base
I stored for the future , but the chair cause it is so soft made a great executive chair for my office chair and I am not ashamed to say I have slept in it several times, I think the fact that it was a lounge chair makes it so great and i love the wheels, tilt and up and down glide . Now for the real kicker
i bought on ebay a over sized plycraft ottoman and put the same wheels and up and down movement on it also , When i am working at my desk I just put it over to the side and when i want to watch t.v. right there like a good dog (she is there also) so my friends I think it is all in the chair stands.
