Got a new coffee table - Lafer Rosewood  

ebay is going to be the end of me! Or at least my marriage..

Bought this table last night:

I figured it would end high and forgot to watch, but nobody bid! She ended up selling to me for a nice price shipped. Still $200 more than I was supposed to spend, but...

Anybody have info on this company? From the searches I've done, seems like there's a few Lafers who designed furniture, ie Benjamin, Percival...made in Brazil circa 60-70's...I've seen a few Rosewood/Leather sofas online as well that are pretty unique.

Anyone have an idea of the "collectability" of the brand? Seems like sort of a fringe brand...but I think the table is pretty slick.
