On my way home from lunch, I stopped at the Last Chance Merchantile, a store run by our local waste management district. Every once in awhile, I'll pick up a Danishy chair (is that a word?) or two if it isn't too beat up. Every once in awhile a Knoll or Herman Miller chair will pop up.
Today I walked through the "art" section, which usually consists of tattered posters from 20 years ago along with a smattering of paintings from "artists" that eventually went on to become office managers for dental practices.
But today, I spotted a signed/numbered silk screen by David Weidman entitled "Marsh Birds". If any of you have watched Saturday morning cartoons 30 years ago, you'll recognize his work. I picked it up for $5. 🙂
