I am restoring a George Nelson credenza I found for dirt cheap and am wondering if anyone can identify the wood used. I am using Howards Restore a Finish in order to refinish the wood and want to use the proper wood stain. Can anyone help me out? Thanks so much!

.
If you're using Howard's, you don't really need to know the type of wood. Just need to find a color that matches kinda close. And it is better to try the light color first. It is easier to go darker than the other way around if it doesn't look right. They only make 9 colors. I'm sure you pick one that's close enough.

Exception.
You should not use Howard's on teak. But this is not teak so you don't have to worry.
[Edit: Congrats on your score.]
