I found this coffee table in a barn full of second hand furniture. Someone has told me it might be by George Nelson. I have searched online and here on the design addict forums, I am still non the wiser. If anyone can give me any advice that would be great. I have uploaded some photos here http://andrewcarver.imgur.com/all/ Thanks, Andrew

Best,
Mark

looks good to me. Exactly the same as mine, apart from it appears that the screws have been changed on yours to cross-heads.

Yes, Mark.
I don't know what the other kind of screw is---slot head? That's what I call them, anyway.

Flat headed or slotted was...
Flat headed or slotted was what I was always taught by my dad who's a joiner.
Maybe the more recent nelson benches have cross-head screws. Either that or im the odd one out and the screws were switched on mine at somepoint in its life.

Thanks
Hi There, Thanks for taking a look for me. As you can see from the images some of the lacquer is peeling but I quite like that. Is there any way in which I can date it? Cheers, Andrew
