Genuine Bertoia Chair or reproduction? with photos  

Hello,
I am writing to enquire about Bertoia Side chair which I bought at auction.
Seller told me that they are authentic because they have original covers from 70s
The wires seem correct. One thing bothers me - is the edge on the end where the leg is attached to the base. It should be beveled - End where base meets seat. On these chairs edges are finished straight (please look at photo)
Perhaps only covers are authentic and chair is a reproduction??
Could somebody confirm they are genuine?
Any help would be great. Thank you!
