Its funny
Its funny Mike, how you keep dodging issues. I say you use false photos of your work, and you talk about how we can't understand the quality of something unless we've seen it in person. If you are so very confident of your quality why don't you post photos of your actual products? Not generic stock photos - YOUR photos - why not?
I'm telling you I've seen Alphaville Designs - in person - and the quality is just not even CLOSE to that of the authentic pieces. (incidentally Alphaville's own website has a photo stolen right off of DWR's webpage...awesome)

Whoever supplies them, it's in your best interest that they tell the real story. Otherwise, isn't it illegal to sell something that is misrepresented? And if they do indeed represent your products, even marginally well, what you sell are not reproductions (if you REPRODUCE something you would be producing the SAME EXACT thing again). Rather they are knock-offs. Like I said earlier, a design addict would NOT be interested in such a thing. Some won't even buy a reproduction (example: a Modernica Eames shell), but I'm willing to bet none would buy some silly cartoonish version of a swan chair.

Okay
So your supplies are supplying duped photos. Not terribly surprising. But easily remedied with a 100$ Nikon and a roll of seamless photo-backdrop paper. Even WhiteFurniture uses their own photos.

reproduction has its place
I have spent a long time collecting but sometime I can not find or afford a certain piece I am looking for. This is when I turn to reproductions. Mixed in with my vintage pieces they look great. Mostly I look for shape, texture and material, not nessisarily name brand. When I need reproductions I go to a warehouse by my house that has a showroom, you can also get floor models from them. If you can see, touch or sit on the items, it makes it alot easier to pick out reproduction items that are quality. The name of the place I go is ...

I can't understand how you can even entertain putting your arse on something that's not right...it's cheap and I mean that in all it's derogatory connotations.
It's akin to loving Monet's work and having a print hanging on your wall in pride of place...sorry but I'll never get it and I don't think this is the place to condone such trash.
Like most of us here it takes years to acquire what we have and the chase is almost as enjoyable as the acquisition, something you just would not get!

Here's an idea
Why not support young designers and artists in producing the future iconic pieces. Reproductions are just simulacra, they are mock status symbols for those who lack imagination.
