Hello, I need your help on the following tables which are sold as Florence Knoll coffee tables.

The problem that I have with the tables are

1) the steel frame is seemingly one piece, i.e. there are no separate legs and horizontal parts;

2) they have plastic gliders;

3) [not seen on the photos] the wood is fixed with one screw on each steel part but there are three holes on each steel part;

4) [not seen on the photos] the wood is marked on the bottom with "Knoll International GmbH" in Murr which is in Germany and the code is 2514 which I cannot verify as an offical Knoll code for this kind of table which normally is 2517;

5) the frame is hollow

Even if the wood could be original I have some doubts on the steel frame.

There are two sofas whose steel frame have similar characteristics. Could it be that it was manufactures by SteelCase?

Thanks a lot for your help!

This is the underside of my coffee table. It's a 1950s model. I can't say what the construction a more recent Knoll coffee table should look like.

I have
2 florence knoll arm chairs and their construction mirrors exactly the picture above. Seems that they were consistent across items

Thanks for your comments
What do you think about my tables having hollow legs and plastic feet.
Do you know/think Knoll ever have produced like this?
And have these SteelCase models have come you by?
It seems that they produced Knoll like models with the apparent differences in the metal base (hollow legs, plastic feet, one piece base front appearance instead of Knoll's legs vs. horizontal frame part)

The code #.....
Could it be that the German "7" looks like a "4"...they make a typical "7", then add a shorter horizontal stroke in the middle.
