Low sideboard or TV cabinet made of Pallissander wood from the 1960s, Sweden. This is a rosewood sideboard made of veneer and rosewood. Made at G&T Hovmantorp, Sweden. The handles on the three drawers are made of black leather. There are minor damages to the veneer on the lower edges, these are also called signs of use. We want to be transparent about this. Furthermore, the cabinet is in perfect quality and condition, beautifully chic. There are cites statement with the cupboard. Origin: Leopold and Irja Marjatta Rönnman, Helsinki, Finland. Leopold Rönnman (née Gustav Adolf Rönnman) and his wife Irja Marjatta Rönnman, née Tuominen, ran the interior design store Interiors during the Golden Age of Scandinavian design. The store was located at Fredrikinkatu in Helsinki. Interiors had the exclusive rights to the Finnish market to sell products from leading contemporary Danish, Swedish and Norwegian designers and manufacturers of furniture and fixtures. The small family business worked closely with designers such as Hans J. Wegner, Hans-Agne Jakobsson and Björn Wiinblad. This collaboration developed into a deep friendship, allowing the Rönnmans to acquire exclusive objects for their personal apartment and summer home. Towards the end of the 1970s Stockmann bought the furniture rights from Interiors and Interiors focused only on lighting. After Leopold died in the late 1970s, Irja continued the business.
