...that soccer player David Beckham and his wife former Spice Girl Victoria are successful parfume and jewellery designers.
But what exactly are their role in design process?
Or do they only put their famous names to final products?
And are their children allowed to drink Coca-Cola or wear Puma sneakers? (same magazine also said that Mr. Beckham has lifelong contract with Pepsi and Adidas)
What do you THINK their role is?
They lend their names to the product. Sometimes they choose a broad category -- "Make it smell clean and fresh", or "I like flowers" -- and usually they're allowed to choose "their" scent from a half-dozen that are proposed by the manufacturer.
They're successful perfume designers like Michael Jordan is a successful shoe designer or George Foreman is a successful cookware designer. Or the Sultan of Brunei is a successful Ferrari designer.
.
Just found this while searching for something else, no idea who Pharrell is or what he des but apparantly he does (clears throat) design furniture.
