Hi, i wondered if anyone could help me with any information about this cabinet. I think it is art deco in style and it has a name plate of Finmar on the back. I dont particulaly like it so i might sell it, does anyone know what it could be worth? many thanks.

did you see...
When you searched on google for it, did you see the picture of the cabinet and the bit saying "Alvar Aalto (1898 - 1976) , A rare cabinet designed 1935 retailed by Finmar, birch veneered plywood, of bowfront form, two frieze drawers above cupboard enclosing two shelves, ebonised handles retailer's label to the back"
It's a lovely cabinet, but I've no idea re value. And value (in my humble opinion) completely depends on where and how you're trying to sell it.
Another data point, FWIW.
When these guys listed one in their auction catalog, they gave it an estimated value of US$18K-24K:

.
I sold one of these cabinets for £2000 about 7 years ago, I don't think Aalto prices have risen much since then if at all - you can always find a big Sothebys price for most things. Its a collectors not a museum piece. Rare but not hugely here as they nearly all came to the UK, like the bulk of Artek's 1930s output.
