This set was at an estate sale this last Friday. Had to work so couldn't go. Spoke to the people running the sale and they said it went for 1000 which actually made me feel so much better as it would have sucked if they said 150. I didn't know there were tables that go with these chairs. I am sure this would fetch a good chunk in a high end shop.
This is the pic that was in the add for the estate sale.
The pickers for the BG store on 1st dibs hit the New York area so wouldn't be surprised if they got it.

Hmmm
Not sure why anyone would use a Diamond chair as a dining chair. Price seems pretty fair to me.

the dining table is a Richard Schultz design from the 1966 line.

estate sales question
where did you find that estate sale w/ the dining set? i'm looking for a table and curious about the best ways to become aware of the estate sales as they come up. any insight appreciated. thanks

estate sales
you can check out estatesales.net for estate sales across the country. I've found it is used more in the midwest and ca/ tx. on the east coast most of the estate sales I found were in the local paper or craigslist.
