In the morning, once you delete that fantastic story, this will make no sense, but have you considered the strange fact that you noticed the profusion of fiberglass doors in this house of flypaper horrors? (It being uncommon to notice the material of which a door is made).. Do you tend to notice the passage through fiberglass portals as a portent of horrors in other places and times?
I have no fiberglass doors. They do tend, for me, to lead to dingy, disappointing rooms, although I'd never thought about it until now. (I do notice what doors are made of, but apparently have not connected the observation with the subsequent space in a causal way).
