Egg chair/ Fritz Hansen real or fake

Hi everyone,

I have found a 26 year old Egg Chair but would like to ask if you fine people could say if this is a real or fake one.

On the bottom of the feet it has a stamp that says "made in denmark" , there is also a sticker on the bottom of the leather that says "Fritz Hansen 1988"

I would prefer emailing the pictures since the guys never gave me permission to post his pictures online and would like to respect his privacy (as his house interior is showing on the pictures.)

If anyone wouldn't mind giving an email address so i can send out the images for you to take a look at.

I would really appreciate the help, if its not sold today he's taking it to second hand vintage store and chances are it's going to cost loads more once it sits there.

Send your photos to Fritz Hansen as they are the best source and would not care about the interior of an individuals home.

If you are in a hurry
Google pictures of other Egg chairs from about the same age and compare stickers and stamps.
Also look how fabric/leather is stiched and fitted.
Not sure if there were such clever fakes back then so i think that it should be safe to buy.
