I just picked up and early France and Daverkosen lounge chair and was wondering if any of you experts had an idea of the designer. I've seen it attributed to Ole Wanscher and Orla Molgaard-Nielsen - any ideas or can you point me in the right direction. It's walnut-stained beech.

Thanks!

What leads you to believe it...
What leads you to believe it is especially early? Is this chair marked F&D? I've never seen it before. To the best of my knowledge the F &D mark is the only thing that says one piece is earlier than another, but it still indicates a large window.

It's marked F&D under the metal John Stuart tag. I figured it was early because I had read somewhere (maybe here) that France and Daverkosen then became France and Son. I've seen the two different attributions to this chair and they both had dates in the 50's.
