Eames Zenith Label  

(2) Eames Zenith Rope Edge Armchairs I recently and luckily picked up for $20USD a piece! Been stored away since 1974. Reason I know this is that the bases were wrapped in newspaper from that year. They are in great shape with the original shine that is just wonderful. The checkerboard label is in great condition on both as well. They differ from my RAR Zenith in that they have the extra bar across the bottom. Anybody know what this extra blank bar on the bottom of the label is for, or why it is there on this model?
